By separating unwanted oil from the PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) system before it can be recirculated back into the intake, the result is a cleaner, more reliable and better performing engine.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eDirect-injection engine such as the N55 are well known to suffer with sludge and carbon build-up on the backs of the inlet valves, ultimately leading to quite significant drops in power and efficiency of the motor over the years.
