The Toyota Tundra 5.7L V8 is a great truck for off-roading, towing, and general use.  But what if you could get more out of the engine than just 381 horsepower?  The VR Tuned ECU flash is designed to greatly improve horsepower and torque.  Even more, we improve the electronic throttle response, pull through the entire RPM range, and even improve the shift points.  For those that are going fast, we remove the speed limiter.  Help your Tundra V8 engine with towing and even slow speed throttle modulation.  The ECU tune is designed to work with Flex Fuel vehicles on E85 and for all Tundras running 91 octane or higher.  With numerous Toyota Tundra trucks running the streets with the VR Tuned flash, it has proven to be reliable, daily driveable, and produce the improvements that Tundra owners want.  Want to read more about our indepth testing?  Gain Knowledge Here.

  • Use the Alientech Powergate 3+ handheld device. This device is a touchscreen module that lets you store your original and tuned files to easily flash between them. See Instructions Here.
  • Bring your vehicle to our facility where we can use our Master Cable to flash your vehicle.

NOTE: The Toyota Denso ECU is done by and ID only. This means you cannot read out the ECU. We get a ID that shows the software number and we use the tool database to find the matching original file to make the tune from. It is possible that the software version you have is not available. If that is the case, you need to have your software version updated at the dealer or you can return the product for a refund. We are not able to do version changes. If you have any questions, or want to know if your software is supported, please contact us. If you have access to a diagnostic or factory tool that can tell you what your software number is, we can check ahead of time for you.
