The 2018-2021 Toyota Tundra 5.7L V8 model can now be tuned with VR Tuned using the HP Tuners MPVI2+ OBDII system! This is a great truck for off-roading, towing, and general use.  Having partnered with EnigmaSpeed, an HP Tuners specialist, we have developed an amazing ECU flash to exceed the 381 horsepower that comes from the factory.  The VR Tuned ECU flash is designed to greatly improve horsepower and torque.  Even more, we improve the electronic throttle response and pull through the entire RPM range.  This is not just about numbers, but a better overall driveability than stock! 

For those that tow massive payloads, we have an optional tow tune you can switch to with the purchase of your HP Tuners MPVI2+.  In addition to our performance and tow tune, we also offer a transmission tune.  One of the biggest complaints on the Tundra is the transmission shifting.  Our optional Tranmission tune can be set to be mild or aggressive between the gears while we also change the MPH it shifts at.  The ECU tune is designed to work with Flex Fuel vehicles on E85 and for all Tundras running 91 octane or higher.  We can offer a flash for 87 octane, but performance is lower as expected.

Your custom ECU tuning comes from VR Tuned and our team of calibration specialists.  However with the HP Tuners MPVI2+, you get so many more features.  The VCM Editor (see features here) allows you to easily read your vehicles control modules flash memory and save it in our proprietary .HPT file structure. VCM Editor enables you to adjust a multitude of complex parameters such as torque strategies, spark tables, fueling, RPM limits, fan activations, transmission shift points and pressures, exhaust valve control, speedometer settings and many more.  You do not have to do these, however it gives you the freedom to further work with the software or any dyno tuning specialist.
