The RSQ3 has strong bones and serious style from the factory—but we knew it had more to give. Teaming up with the crew at Xatrix, we set out to unlock that extra edge with a few key aero upgrades from Maxton Design. This wasn’t about going over the top. It was about tightening up the RSQ3’s already aggressive profile and giving it a sharper, more purposeful stance—something that looks just as good rolling into a weekend meet as it does carving through fast backroads.
Why the Audi F3 RSQ3?
With its punchy 2.5L turbo five-cylinder, Quattro grip, and sleek Sportback lines, the RSQ3 is a unique mix of practicality and performance. But we knew it had room to grow. We wanted to bring out more of the motorsport-inspired edge without going overboard—just the right touches to turn heads and feel more planted behind the wheel.
That’s where Xatrix came in. We teamed up to fit a full Maxton Design aero kit and bring out the best in this hot hatch-on-stilts.
The Upgrades – What We Installed
Subtle but effective. These rear splitters help clean up airflow from the back wheels, reducing drag and adding a bit of visual width to the RSQ3’s stance.
We went with the more aggressive V.2 version here for a lower front-end look and better underbody airflow. This helps keep the front-end stable at higher speeds and really finishes off the front bumper.
To tie it all together, we fitted the side skirts that run the length of the sills. These visually lower the car, improve side airflow, and give it that clean, continuous line from front to rear.
The End Result
A sharper, more refined aesthetic that adds presence without going over the top. With the Maxton Design kit now installed, the RSQ3 looks more planted and purposeful—subtle enough to keep it clean, but bold enough to catch the eye. Fitment was spot-on, and the install process at Xatrix was smooth from start to finish, proving that quality components really do make all the difference.
It’s one of those upgrades you immediately notice—especially when you find yourself looking back at the car after parking. The enhanced road feel and visual aggression now match the RSQ3’s performance a little more closely, making it a more complete package overall.
