Vehicle Technician

We are looking for an experienced automotive technician to join the ever growing team at Xatrix, our garage based in Chertsey, Surrey. You will be involved in installing performance parts and also be involved in a range of electrical andmechanical systems for a range of car models, and everyday will be packed with variety. We are a German Vehicle performance specialist working on the most prestigious vehicles, such as BMW, Mercedes, Audi, VW and MINI.

 

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Installing and testing performance parts such as Eventuri, Akrapovic, Masata etc.
  • Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately, using various diagnostic equipment
  • Carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenance to high standards.
  • Road testing vehicles
  • Maintaining equipment and making sure tools are in good condition.
  • Following checklists to ensure all procedures are completed.
In particular, we are also looking to promote one of the technicians to become a workshop manager, so if found to be suitable the automotive technician will have every chance of being promoted to run the whole workshop.

 

Qualifications
  • A certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3 and solid work experience in the automotive industry.
  • The ability to work in a competent and efficient manner on your own or part of a busy team.
  • Ability to adapt to new technology.
  • The ability to carry out work to high standards to deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Having the ambition to progress, learn and enhance your skills.
  • The ability to accurately follow written and spoken instructions.
  • A full driving licence.

Warehouse Assistant

Our warehouse is a large fast moving environment with many types of Manual Handling Equipment moving around. As a Warehouse Associate at Xatrix, you will ensure that customer orders are picked and delivered on time with the highest quality standards to give the customer a great shopping experience. Always ensuring the safety and security of our co-workers is our number one priority.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Receive, sort and deliver deliveries daily
  • Liaising with delivery couriers such as DHL to ensure all deliveries are made on time
  • Maintain inventory of packing supplies and ensure procurement of supplies when inventory runs low
  • Model a “can-do” approach
  • Perform duties and projects as assigned
  • Product photo taking

 

Qualifications

  • High-energy individual with a strong work ethic, the work is fast paced and very physical
  • Lift and carry items up to 40kg, materials handled will vary
  • Prior warehouse and/or equipment experience is preferred but we are more than willing to train the right candidate
  • Ability to adapt to new technology

  • Possess problem solving skills and a calm demeanor
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise

Content Creator

We are now looking for a multi-talented, energetic professional who is skilled at videography. You will be producing videos from start to finish for our website, social media and our YouTube channel, filming customer testimonials, filming new and pre-owned vehicle walk arounds, filming product launch videos and filming ‘before and after’ videos etc.

You will also be responsible for crafting engaging and informative product overviews for Xatrix’s social media channels. For this role you will be based in Bradford, West Yorkshire.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Plan, produce and edit video content in a range of formats to be used across Xatrix owned channels
  • Create video content in accordance with the overarching brand and digital strategy, as well as objectives, house style and tone of voice, while ensuring it is optimised for specific digital and social platforms
  • Shoot still photography, when needed
  • Work closely with Marketing Managers and other members of the marketing team in the development of a design from start to finish
  • Research products to ensure all information is presented correctly and accurately to customers in the videos

 

Qualifications

  • Excellent portfolio that showcases both filming and editing work
  • Comprehensive understanding of the full Adobe suite, including Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere Pro
  • Knowledge and application of graphic design and video editing, with the ability to apply creative thinking to projects
  • Ability to produce high-quality content to tight deadlines and in high-pressure environments
  • A broad understanding of the role that digital content plays in engaging car fans, demonstrating an understanding of fans’ passion and what drives it
  • Awareness and application of best practice across mobile-first platforms including apps and social media
  • Auto knowledge will be a huge bonus
  • Capable of writing scripts both product driven and for social content (covering events, company marketing, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Service Advisor

The Service Advisor is the first impression our visitors have of our Xatrix Headquarters location and the organization as a whole. Whether greeting our visitors in person, over the phone, or answering or referring inquiries, a friendly and professional demeanor is our culture. The Service Advisor’s responsibilities include directing visitors by maintaining employee and department directories and giving instructions, as well as manning the receptionist phone call and subsequently answering any customer enquiries.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests and visitors by greeting, directing and announcing them appropriately
  • Answer, screen and forward any incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed
  • Receive, sort and deliver deliveries daily
  • Perform clerical duties and projects as assigned
  • Keep Reception area tidy
  • Model a “can-do” approach

 

Qualifications

  • Proven work experience in a front office handling receptionist responsibilities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
