The BMW 335i is one of those cars that quietly carved a legacy. Launched in the mid-2000s, it bridged the gap between daily usability and serious performance—especially thanks to the N54 engine, a twin-turbo straight-six that quickly earned a reputation for being far more capable than BMW let on. Fast forward nearly 20 years, and it’s still a favourite in the tuning world. Why? Because it responds beautifully to upgrades.
When this particular 335i—nicknamed the Green Beast—rolled into Xatrix, we knew it wasn’t here for a routine service. The owner had one goal in mind: to take this already iconic platform and elevate it to new levels of power and fun.

This wasn’t just about slapping parts on. It was about bringing a nearly two-decade-old engine platform into modern-day performance territory. And let’s be honest—600bhp from an N54? That still turns heads.
But the beauty of this build isn’t just the number. It’s how it drives. Smooth off-boost, wild when you want it to be. A proper sleeper that still looks civil… until you hear the turbos spool.
