Get ready to elevate your Land Rover Defender OCTA V8 experience! Milltek’s highly anticipated stainless steel exhaust system, fresh from its thrilling debut at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed, is set to arrive at ML Performance by the end of August.
Developed in-house using Milltek’s own OCTA development vehicle, this non-resonated, particulate filter-back system has been carefully engineered to deliver a more engaging, fuller-bodied soundtrack – all while retaining emissions compliance. It integrates seamlessly with the factory valve control, offering a noticeably sharper contrast between the OCTA’s standard and OCTA performance modes.
The system features twin 80mm valves – larger than the factory setup – paired with a reflective rear silencer and the removal of the centre resonator. This combination enhances both tone and volume, resulting in a deeper, more immersive exhaust note under throttle, while remaining composed and drone-free at a cruise.
As Kev Hall, Milltek’s Technical Operations Manager, explains:
“The exhaust delivers a well-balanced acoustic profile – deeper and more involving under load, yet calm and refined at idle. It performs exactly as we envisioned, enhancing the driving experience without affecting comfort or usability.”
Hand-built in the UK at Milltek’s Derby-based headquarters, the system is crafted from T304L stainless steel for long-term durability and a precise fit.
Owners have the choice to keep the factory tailpipes for a more understated, OEM appearance, or upgrade to Milltek’s GT-100 tips, available in polished black, brushed titanium, or burnt titanium finishes.
The Defender OCTA V8 performance exhaust will be available at ML Performance by the end of August, starting at £3,882 when retaining the factory tips, or £4,595 with the premium burnt titanium option.
