Description

Inject new life into your M2, M235i, 334i or 435i with a perfect high-flow catted downpipe! Genuine 200-cell HJS catalyst instantly adds power and sport sound without triggering a check engine light! Also increased the performance by 16-22whp and 33-40 ft-lbs of torque, backed up by dyno testing on the M2 and 21 whp and 36 ft/lbs of torque at 3000 RPM on the M235i.

  • Fits all BMW F87 M2 model, F22/F23 M235i, F30/F31 335i and F32/F33 435i
  • Designed with a 200-cell HJS catalyic converter core for maximum performance and reliability; same cat core used on our Ferrari 458 Italia applications!
  • Direct bolt-on replacement; no cutting or welding required
  • Does not trigger check engine light
  • Complies with most emissions regulations (NOTE: It the purchaser's responsibility to verify legality and compliance in their region.)
  • Add 16-22whp and 33-40 ft-lbs of torque on F87 M2

  • A crease is incorporated to allow for clearance in any M235i setup

 

We also highly recommend replacing the downpipe to turbo gasket when installing the performance downpipe.

Fabspeed's in house M235i is equipped with the Fabspeed Sport Cat Downpipe, Muffler Bypass Exhaust, aftermarket intake, and aftermarket charge pipe. With some tuning, nearly 400 ft-lbs of torque was eclipsed - all without throwing a check engine light.

Bmw m2 Fabspeed sports cat

The craftsmanship and quality of the fabspeed cat is second to none... ML performance were excellent, customer service was perfect and really fast shipping..plus the hand written note within the parcel was a good touch..I’ll be sure to use them again in the future.

Great bump in power and sound.

With this thing, you can hear the turbo a bit more and it really gives it more of a growl and scream. I've had my car for about 8 months and while I'd gotten a ton of compliments on it, never about the sound. In the past 2 days since the install, I had a guy track me down @ my desk at work to tell me he was behind me the day before and he had to tell me how sick the car sounded. On my way to work today, a couple of guys in a worked Mustang GT pulled up and told me how great it sounded. That NEVER happened before the SC install. I'm stock besides having a Dinan sport tuner, so this thing is the only exhaust change I've made. My buddy says I don't know how good it really sounds because I'm always in the car. It seems he's right. I did this for the few extra ponies, but the sound seems to be a huge plus on top of those. If you're on the fence, get off it. You won't be sorry.

Original review posted Anonymously on 2nd Oct 2017 Installed the Fabspeed 200 cell sport cat yesterday...my car has the Dinantronics Stage 1 installed (I am saving up for the Dinan big turbo + Intercooler ). The improvement in power with the Dinantronics alone was a mild boost in power in the mid range made more impressive by adding 94 Octane to the mix. The Fabspeed sport cat made for a holy **** bump in power AND sound!!! So thanks to the guys at Fabspeed they make an excellent quality product that rocks!!!...and second, I would suggest adding the sport cat as a stand alone prior to other changes to the exhaust system as it now has an even louder, deeper and IMHO more awesome exhaust note. For me, there is absolutely no need to mod the exhaust beyond this...plus I like the stealth mode.
