The 2023+ Honda Civic Type R arrives from the factory with a turbocharged four-cylinder that responds directly to improvements in intake airflow. The stock airbox introduces restriction that limits how efficiently air reaches the turbo - the Mishimoto Performance Air Intake replaces it with a fully sealed, free-breathing system that reduces intake restriction by 17.9% over the factory unit, validated on the flow bench. -- Back-to-back dyno runs confirm 14.9 whp and 25.3 wtq gains over stock. The fully sealed airbox isolates the intake from engine bay heat, preserving cooler, denser charge temperatures through every session. No tune required - the intake drops in for the 2023+ Honda Civic Type R with basic hand tools and no modification to the vehicle. Backed by the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.
