This replacement distributor drive gear fits 72-83 CJ5, 72-75 CJ6, 76-81 CJ7, 74-83 Cherokee/Wagoneer SJ, 84-91 Grand Wagoneer and 72-73 Commando models equipped with 8 cylinder engines and a 0.492- in. distributor shaft. Gear is camshaft mounted. For distributor driven gear, use 17423.02. For complete set of distributor gears, use 17423.03. Replaces OE 4486635
