As part of our expanding Audi, SEAT, Skoda and VW TFSI product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our intercooler upgrade to offer increased performance through reduced charge temperatures in comparison to the original intercooler. This is particularly important to remapped examples.
Our solution to replacing and improving the OEM hugely restrictive twin intercooler setup and lengthy pipework within the confines behind the bumper assembly is based upon a high flow, single-pass core design, that’s wider, taller and deeper than the original. This offers a massive increase in frontal area and a huge increase in capacity, which allows it to make the most of the air flow provided.
Despite this improvement, the kit fits neatly behind the original bumper, requires no trimming or cutting, and can be reverted back to standard with no issues. The comprehensive fitting kit includes all the correct fixtures and fittings.
The intercooler is available in a Pro-Series Black finish (with or without the AIRTEC logo).

Dyno Tested
Tested at Devil Developments rolling road – on Golf Mk5 GTI 2.0 TFSI 200ps with a Stage 1 remap. Data collected was before and after intake temperatures, and power increases.
Standard intercooler:
Intake Temperature: 46 degrees
Power: 239.7bhp
AIRTEC intercooler:
Intake Temperature: 27 degrees
Power: 253.4bhp
