As part of our expanding Honda Civic platform product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our big boost pipe kit for the FL5 Type R suitable for track or fast road use.
Developed in-house at AIRTEC HQ in the UK, we've created a comprehensive solution to improving the car's original pipework to allow more flow and capacity whilst reducing restriction and improving response.
Designed to fit with our uprated AIRTEC Motorsport intercooler, the kit features two specially made Pro Hoses direct replacement silicone pipes, as well as two CNC-machined connectors to make fitting as simplistic as possible.
Offering an 18% increase in diameter, on the hot side coming from the turbo the original pipework measures 55mm to the intercooler where it steps up to 65mm, where as our enlarged replacement kit immediately steps to a 65mm internal diameter from start to finish with no restrictions.
For the cold side to the throttle body, there's also an 18% increase as the original pipework measures 59mm until it joins to the AIRTEC 70mm intercooler pipework, but our replacement pipework immediately steps to 70mm throughout, increasing both flow and capacity.
The kit requires no additional drilling or cutting to fit and comes complete with all the correct fixtures and fittings, as well as detailed instructions.
A must have for any modified Civic FL5 Type R to help the improve the boost pipework's flow and efficiency.
