Traditional spanners, often made from stainless steel, leave unsightly marks and scratches on the fittings. Anyone who has worked with AN fittings knows how easily they can be marked.

Our adjustable AN spanners are CNC machined from 6061 billet aluminium and designed to match the shape of AN hose ends. They are anodised with the same coating as the fittings to avoid scratches during installation.

Being made from billet aluminium, which is relatively soft, helps prevent damage to either product when the spanner and fitting surfaces meet. If you have ever assembled AN fittings and lines, you will know how much force they take to be correctly fitted; this is now not a worry with our adjustable AN spanners.

Another huge advantage of our adjustable AN spanners is that they range from AN03 to AN16, so you can use them paired with Exoracing AN vice jaws to assemble lines as small as brake lines up to full AN16 coolant systems.

Using our AN spanner is very simple and easy, but follow the steps below to make sure you do not cause damage to either the fittings or the spanner.

1. First, ensure the AN fitting you are trying to assemble is made from aluminium. If you have a steel or stainless steel AN fitting, please use a conventional spanner, which will damage the spanner.
2. Open the spanner to the correct size you need, tighten around the fitting, make sure the fitting is perfectly seated on one of the flat edges, and start the installation on the AN line.
3. If you don't have the AN fitting fully seated in the centre of the spanner, or you overlap the spanner too far over the fitting, you may cause damage.
4. Now, you can assemble your brand new oil or fuel delivery lines without risk of damage to the fittings or line! If you have any photos whilst using our range of AN spanners, please tag us on social media; we would love to see them!

Although you can use it in other applications, you are best off only using it for aluminium AN fittings. If you do not know what material you are using the spanner on, then you could cause damage, which can mark future fittings you're using it on.

Currently, yes, we only offer black, red, and blue, but if you want a custom colour, please get in touch.
