It is essential to rectify any issues with your exhaust system promptly, as driving with a leaking exhaust flange gasket can be dangerous over time and cause power loss.

Follow these steps to install your brand-new doughnut gasket correctly. If you aren't sure about any of the steps here or aren't confident working on your car, please consult a mechanic.

1. First, ensure the exhaust is cold or lukewarm to the touch so you aren't at burn risk.
2. Remove the spring bolts and washers from your exhaust.
3. Remove the old broken donut gasket and throw it away. Install the brand new one in the same location, ensuring it's the correct way around (the taper in the conical part of the exhaust).
4. Install the spring bolts, ensure everything is tight, and you are all done!

• Professional installation is recommended if you're unsure how to install the donut gasket.
• Make sure you install the gasket the correct way around; otherwise, the gasket will not seal and will perish very quickly.
