Have you ever tried to make AN lines and realised that you are damaging the fittings? This is where Exoracing magnetic AN vice jaws come in. They are machined from 6061 billet aluminium and include 3 x strong neodymium magnets in each half to fit perfectly inside a vice without slipping.

The benefit of using one of these is that they are shaped perfectly to fit AN fittings from AN03 up to AN20. Being machined from aluminium and anodised, they will not scratch the fittings as you install them onto the AN line.

These inserts are designed to make fitting lines easier by securely holding the fittings in place. Their unique hexagonal shape perfectly matches AN fittings. Magnetic vice jaws are incredibly simple and easy to use; follow the steps below:

1. First, open up the vice to allow the vaws to fit inside.
2. Next, remove the two halves and place one half in the vice with the magnets pointing towards the outside and the lip on top of the vice. The strong neodymium magnets should hold the vice jaws in place.
3. Follow step 2 for the second vice jaws on the opposite side of the vice.
4. Now, you can start assembling your AN fittings by placing them horizontally or vertically in the vice (if you're unsure, reference our photos at the top).
5. You are all set up to start creating your first AN assembly! If you get any good photos, then make sure to tag us on social media, as we would love to see them!

The only way they could have scratched is if the AN fittings weren't made from aluminium, they weren't held tight enough or in the correct position in the vice jaws, or you used a spanner to install them that wasn't made from aluminium, such as our Exoracing AN spanners.
