Why Do You Need A Weld In Lambda Sensor Nut? It is commonplace to find one or two Lambda sensor ports within OEM and aftermarket exhaust systems. For example, a weld-in Lambda sensor nut is the best solution if you ever need more ports to add an extra wideband.
If you have an aftermarket exhaust system, you may need to add a port to accommodate a wideband sensor or remove one of the existing ports. Most exhaust comes with a stock narrowband exhaust location, which is fine until you want to do a turbo conversion, for example.
In this case, you will need an extra port as the stock narrowband sensor will not be able to detect or calibrate to the full range you need.
As we all know, the air-fuel ratio is one of the most important aspects of aftermarket tuning, so a wideband is necessary nowadays for engine protection.
Our team has developed various solutions to this issue, including our lambda screw-in bungs or weld-in lambda ports, which are fully compatible with the universal M18x1.5 thread standard for narrowband or wideband sensors.
These specific products are crafted using high-grade 304 stainless steel to prevent any rusting or deterioration over time, ensuring the longevity and reliability of your exhaust system.
Our weld-in adapters are also threaded to M18x1.5, the most common thread for lambda sensors. We have also machined a lip onto the boss to make installing and fabricating a breeze!
The Exoracing lambda adapter nut is also incredibly small and lightweight, weighing 20g and measuring 13mmx24.5mm. We now offer a lifetime warranty on our lambda sensor adapters, giving you peace of mind and a risk-free experience.
