General Details:

Motul Specific RN17 FE 0w-20 is a fully synthetic engine oil designed specifically for recent Renault vehicles including Dacia and Samsung.

Application:

Specifically designed for some recent Renault vehicles (Renault, Dacia, Samsung) marketed since 2018 fitted with petrol and diesel engines requiring a Renault RN17 FE approved oil. The RN17 FE standard is not backward compatible to any other Renault standards such as RN0700, RN0710, RN0720, RN17 or RN17 RSA and therefore cannot be used on engines requiring those norms.

Compatible with DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter), SCR (Selective Catalyst Reduction), catalytic converters
and GPF (Gasoline / Petrol Particulate Filter).

Note: Do not mix oils that are not RN17 FE approved.

- For non-RN17 FE compatible diesel engines, e.g. up to September 2018 (Euro 6d-Temp standard), use only a Renault RN17 or RN0720 approved lubricant such as Motul Specific 17 5w-30 or Motul Specific 0720 5w-30.

  • Specifically designed for Renault vehicles
  • Able to endure the most severe thermal constrains along with modern after treatment systems compatibility
  • Reduced levels of Sulphated Ash, Phosphorous and Sulphur contain (mid SAPS) protects and extends lifetime of modern after treatment systems such as DPF, SCR allowing NOx (nitrous oxides) treatment through the use of AdBlue additive or so-called “Diesel Exhaust Fluid”, and GPF on petrol engines
  • Fully synthetic base stock provides high thermal stability
  • Prevents varnish and sludge to maintain engine cleanliness
  • Lowers the risk of ring sticking
  • Maximum engine protection and performance even in the most severe conditions
  • Low volatility for reduced oil consumption and outstanding oxidation resistance to ensure extended oil drain intervals
  • Fulfils the most stringent performance and durability requirements through the Long Life Renault (LLR)
