Soichiro Honda always had a passion for motorsport so it was inevitable that before long they would race bikes in Grand Prix and the iconic Isle of Man TT with Mike Hailwood securing their first senior TT win in 1966. The formation of Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) in 1982 saw them debut their first two-stroke race bike the NS500 which went on to win the Grand Prix world championship in 1984 and since then Honda has been a dominant force in Grand Prix racing winning numerous championships and heads the number of wins at the TT.
