The RM Series is comprised of a damper cartridge secured within a threaded outer body. This specific design requires a lubricating grease to be applied during the assembly process between the two damper and threaded body to avoid metal-to-metal contact. In order to keep the two components from touching each other and generating noise transmission you will need to periodically clean out the old grease and apply new grease.
This is a simple process that can be done with just a few common tools. It does not require you to open the internals of the dampers themselves and therefore you do not need to have the dampers re-pressurized after carrying out this procedure. Please contact us on info@mlperformance.co.uk for more information and a step-by-step guide on how to complete this maintenance.
As a result of this required maintenance, we do not recommend the RM Series for road use over the BR Series or ER Series.

Boost Cooler Stage 2 VC-50 Control Unit Upgrade. Variable Injection via Boost Pressure with Dual Stage Option. For all Turbo and Supercharged Engines up to 3.5 Bar Boost Pressure.
The Boost Cooler VC-50 control unit from SNOW Performance regulates the water or water-alcohol injection quantity progressively to the boost pressure. The desired start and full injection time (boost pressure) is simply entered on the OLED screen and the controller creates an injection curve for the optimal injection quantity.
In addition to the primary injection nozzle, an additional nozzle can optionally be activated separately. The so-called "power nozzle" is also activated at high engine load and enables an increased total injection quantity at full load. The optional Dual Stage Upgrade is required for this.
The progressive injection of water or water / methanol based on the boost pressure is quite precise and has a positive effect on cooling and engine performance over a wide load range. In particular, the possibility of an additional nozzle in the full load range has a positive effect on the overall performance of the system.
Recommended for all turbo and radial compressor engines as well as turbo diesel engines up to about 3.5 bar boost pressure.
Please Note: Dual Stage Upgrade for injection optimisation to a 2-stage injection control. Advantage: In low load ranges, a smaller primary nozzle can be used to inject earlier, and during peak loads, the Boost Cooler can provide a higher overall injection quantity in an even more optimised manner.
