Large front mount intercooler. This intercooler provides maximum charge air cooling capability for your engine setu.P Since the intercooler is placed at the vehicle front. much larger cooling area (550x180mm)) can be provided compared to upgrades fitted to the OEM intercooler positions. The kit includes hand welded aluminum intercooler pipes and silicone hoses. The pipework connects the hose at the compressor outlet to the OEM charge air pipe which leads to the intake manifold. The OEM intercooler is being removed. freeing up space for useful add-ons such as an oil cooler. The intercooler is based upon a BOOST products HF Fin-and-Tube style intercooler core. which provides superior cooling abilities while still being lighter than Bar-and-Plate cores. Our welder has more than 10 years of experience in welding aluminum. ensuring highest quality Made in Germany. Our welding seams do not crack at 3bar!
The installation to the vehicle front requires a cut-out at the frontal bumber bar. Additionally a cut-out at the inside of the front bumper is required. The ambient air temperature sensor (bracket at the intercooler) and the cooling lines of the power steering system have to be displaced / bent.

Advice: If the vehicle features a secondary air pump the pump has to be displaced or removed as well.
