Large front mount intercooler. This intercooler provides maximum charge air cooling capability for your engine setu.P Since the intercooler is placed at the vehicle front. much larger cooling area (450x300mm)) can be provided compared to upgrades fitted to the OEM intercooler positions. The kit includes hand welded aluminum intercooler pipes and silicone hoses. The pipework connects the hose at the compressor outlet to the intake manifold.The OEM intercooler is being removed. freeing up space for useful add-ons such as an oil cooler. The intercooler is based upon a BOOST products HF Fin-and-Tube style intercooler core. which provides superior cooling abilities while still being lighter than Bar-and-Plate cores. The installation to the vehicle front requires a cut-out at the frontal bumper bar and the fitting of two mounting brackets (ideally by welding. otherwise screwed). Additionally a cut-out at the inner side of the frontal bumper is required.
