In the vehicles M135i and M235i with a standard brake system, the BMW lightweight sports brake discs on the front and rear axles can be installed without any additional measures. For 335i and 335d as well as 435i and 435d vehicles with standard brakes, the BMW lightweight sports brake discs on the front axle can be installed without additional measures. On vehicles with a 17 "or 18" BMW M sports brake (optional extra from the band), the perforated and grooved BMW lightweight sports brake discs can be installed on the front and rear axles without additional measures.
Homologation: An entry in the vehicle documents is not necessary as the brake system does not change in the approval-relevant data!
The vehicle must be carefully retracted for the first 200 km after installing the brake discs! After the break-in period, the full effectiveness of the brake system is given. Due to the constructive peculiarity of the perforated and grooved BMW lightweight sports brake discs, it can lead to functional noise when braking, but have no effect on the stability of the brake discs.
It is also recommended to install new brake pads when installing the BMW lightweight sports brake discs. The BMW lightweight sports brake disc, like the corresponding series brake disc, is only approved in conjunction with at least 17 "or 18" aluminum wheels (also in winter)!
Note: For this product, customers will usually need to purchase two, one for each side. These rear discs are usually purchased with the Genuine BMW F20 F21 F30 F31 Brake Retrofit Kit (M135i, 320i, 335i & 435i).
Picture is for illustration only, this listing is for one rear brake disc only.
